EKU BookSmart Program
Today we publicly announced an exciting new initiative called EKU BookSmart. In the fall semester of the 2021- 2022 academic year, textbooks will be provided for EKU undergraduate students – on campus and online. Textbooks often pose a barrier to student success, and EKU BookSmart is part of our commitment to keeping education affordable for all students. You can view the video announcement here.
On the first day of classes, faculty will walk into the classroom knowing that every student already has the materials they need to learn and grow throughout the semester. Students will keep their books while classes are in session, then return them at the end of the semester; or purchase the ones they want to keep at a discounted price.
EKU BookSmart is part of the EKU Advantage, innovative incentives designed to help students with educational attainment. EKU Advantage initiatives include no application fee, new scholarships, expanded online program offerings and of course now, EKU BookSmart.
